British Eventing sponsors, KBIS British Equestrian, will once again sponsor the Young Horse series and championships 2013.

KBIS already supports budding young event riders through sponsorship of the Open Novice U-18 Championships series and the KBIS Festival of Youth at Weston Park.

The Young Horse series offers qualifying classes at BE90 and BE100 levels for four and five year old horses with a final at the Young Horse Championships held at Osberton International which also hosts international championships for six and seven year olds.

Former winners include Borough Pennyz who was the highest placed mare at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the 2012 Bramham champion Chili Morning, as well as four star level horses Granntevka Prince, Cool Mountain and Redesigned.

Guy Prest of KBIS says: "The young horse series has been of great interest to us over the years. British Eventing together with BEDE events have done a fantastic job in raising the profile of the Championships and providing a true showcase at Osberton, so to now be involved is very exciting.

"The U18 series will always be very important to us and so it was fundamental that any additional sponsorship would not distract from the support we provide to this series. We are therefore delighted to be in a position where we can now support both our young riders and our young horses of the future and are very much looking forward to the season ahead."
