The leading international horse charity, World Horse Welfare, is holding a Fun Day at Penny Farm near Blackpool on Wednesday 1 June 2011.

There is the opportunity to see all of the new foals which have been born in recent months – some are as young as 11 days old. Visitors can also meet some of the horses and ponies currently being rehabilitated at the Centre and find out more about the work of World Horse Welfare.

Everyone is welcome to come along between 11am and 3pm to enjoy lots of activities which include: -

• Groom a pony sessions

• Games in the indoor school

• Tours of the yard and chance to meet the horses and ponies

• Face painting


Admission is free however there may be a small charge for some of the activities.
