Team Fredericks are excited to announce the release of the final shares in "Brits Babies". Clayton and Lucinda have a strong track record of developing young horses into successful world class eventers. Their outstanding Olympic result of a silver team medal in 2008 proves they are well qualified to nurture the best from strong progeny.

Little Britannia and Britannia’s Mail are the foals of the famous Headley Britannia, a wonderful chestnut mare who has become part of eventing’s history. That’s a privilege in itself – but now, in her embryo transfer foals by Olympian Show Jumper Jaguar Mail, we also have two incredibly exciting youngsters who are the real future of the sport.

Headley Britannia, is a mare competing at the highest levels of the equestrian sport of eventing. Relatively small for the sport, her jumping ability, manoeuvrability and willingness have propelled her to the top, she is the holder of the highest ever 4 star winning score of 32.3. Brit’s greatest accomplishments include a win at the 2006 Burghley Horse Trials, the first mare in 33 years to do so, and a win at the 2007 Badminton Horse Trials, the first mare in 53 years and the only mare to have won Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky in the same year. Headley Britannia was named "Personality of the Year 2007 by the Animal Health Trust.

Lucinda Fredericks said "Already, we can see the potential in Britannia’s Mail and Little Britannia. Their movement, attitude and athleticism shines out even at this early stage. They have everything it takes to follow in their parents’ hoof prints and, of course, their enormous breeding potential makes them valuable investments as well as valuable prospects".

Both foals are now fully broken in and have shown superb techniques in show jumping. For an update on the foals please see the Team Fredericks website here www.teamfredericks.com/horses/foal-syndicate

The foals are syndicated as a pair, so a 1% share in each horse rather than just one – there is then an annual fee (per share) to go towards the running costs.
