Edward Gal celebrated his individual gold medal win on Moorlands Totilas for The Netherlands at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games,

Great Britain’s Laura Bechtolsheimer on Mistral Hojris won the silver medal, ahead of US rider Steffen marking the first US individual dressage medal in a world championship.
Edward Gal scored 85.708%, with Laura Bechtolsheimer producing a new British record grand prix special score of 81.708% to claim GB’s first ever World Championship individual silver medal.
"I’ve worked hard to keep his focus for the Grand Prix special and I’m pretty happy with silver," said Laura. "I probably had a better chance of winning gold yesterday as he was more relaxed – he made me work quite hard today! I didn’t hear my mark for a long time as I was too busy telling my horse he was a legend."
