Rescue mare needs a home
Vortilla as a foal
A part-bred Trotter mare who was taken in by Redwings Horse Sanctuary as an orphaned foal is now all looking for a new home through the charitys Rehoming Scheme.

Four-year-old Vortilla was taken in by Redwings after she was orphaned as a foal.

After being quite a handful as a baby, 15hh Vortilla has grown up and now hacks out and will do some light schooling. She is good to do but is looking for an experienced home that can provide her with love and continue her training.
Emma Lacey, Re-homing Manager for Redwings, says: "Vortilla is so special to us as she is such a character and it was amazing to nurse her back to health when she was just a baby and watch her grow into the beautiful mare she is now. We would now like to find her a caring, loving home to complete her story and provide her with the happy ending she really deserves."
