The inaugural Heavy Horse Show takes place on 12 September at The National Brewery Centre, Burton upon Trent.

The competition, which celebrates the iconic breeds from around the region, will see total of 48 horses including Shires, Clydesdales, Suffolks and Percherons and will be judged by one of the country's top horse breeders, Tom Fountain.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the centre's many exhibits and attractions, including The Brewing Experience red carpet tour; beer tasting (adults only); a vehicle collection; a working steam engine and interactive displays - all brought to life by the Centre's team of character actors.

Entrance costs £8.50 for adults (concessions £7.50) while children’s entry is free when accompanied by a full-paying adult/concession. Doors open from 10am and the first class show will begin at 11am.
