New venues for young event horse series
Three new venues have been announced for the Burghley Dubarry Young Event Horse Series for 2010.
Since the competition was launched in 1987with the aim has been to identify those with potential to make four-star event horses.
Many of the top event horses over the past 20 years have graduated through the class, including Kristina Cook’s 2008 Olympic bronze medallist Miner’s Frolic and Pippa Funnell’s 2003 Burghley and Rolex Grand Slam winner Primmore’s Pride winner of the Burghley Young Event Horse final in 1998.

The new qualifying venues are Burgie International, 18 June, Glanusk Horse Trials, 2 July, and Carlton Horse Trials, 30 July.

The Burghley Dubarry Young Event Horse Final takes place on Friday 3 September.
