Good entries for Festival
More than 1,500 of the country’s top show horses and ponies are entered for the inaugural Royal Festival of the Horse, which takes place at Stoneleigh Park
(9 - 11 July).
The Royal Agricultural Society of England’s classes, previously held at the Royal Show, now feature more than 47 HOYS qualifiers and six championships.

Back to defend their 2009 Ridden Supreme Champion title are Sirius II and Vanessa Ramm, who said: "I am really looking forward to competing at the Festival and being part of this new premier event, which promises to be a heaven for all horse-lovers. Stoneleigh Park has always been a great place to show, with lovely rings, and we’ll be out to do our best."

Grand National winner Bindaree will be challenging for a title of a different kind in the Retraining of Racehorses class, while the main stadium hosts three themed days of displays and competition – dressage on Friday, showjumping on Saturday and Express Eventing on Sunday.
Royal Festival of the Horse Ticket prices range from £20 for one-day standard admission. A single one-day ticket including a covered seat in the stadium grandstand is £40. Family and weekend tickets are also available.
