The shocking Spindles Farm cruelty case is back in the news this month as horse trader James John Gray, his wife Julie Gray and daughters Jodie and Cordelia Gray ( together with a juvenile male who cannot be named for legal reasons, appealing against various convictions for animal welfare offences following a prosecution brought by the RSPCA.

The case, which began in January, has been heard on various dates at Bicester Magistrates Court sitting as Aylesbury Crown Court. The next hearing is due on Monday 19 April, again at Bicester Magistrates Court, when it is expected that final legal submissions will be heard before the judge retires to consider his verdict.
