Could you be an endurance coach?
Endurance GB is running a four-day Level 2 Endurance Coach Course for riders on 27-28 April & 25-26 May with final assessment being on 14 July.
Riders will be sent pre course work and will undergo technical assessment during the course.
To coach applicants must have their own insurance, which is available via the BHS register of instructors.
Applicants will also need their First Aid at Work (three-day course) or the BHS equine specific first aid course, plus a child protection course also organised by the BHS.
There are also plans to offer the Level 3 course later this year– all candidates must pass the Level 2 assessment before they can attempt the Level 3 qualifications.
Organisers will also be running a Level 1 course in August at the young rider camp.
Local council grants may be available. Visit the BEF site under the funding section or contact local councils and Sport England representatives to check.
