Birmingham celebrates show jumping
Robert Till with his sculpture of BOB
A life-size specially commissioned piece of equestrian art takes pride of place in Birmingham’s Centenary Square to celebrate the city hosting the eighth British Open Show Jumping Championships at the NEC LG Arena (7 – 10 April).
The sculpture called British Open Beauty (aka BOB) by leading British artist Robert Till will be on display for three weeks in Birmingham city centre before travelling to the LG Arena for the event.

"I am a huge fan of show-jumping so this was an honour to be asked to launch this years British Open," said Robert. "The piece took just under a month to finish and is modelled on one of our horses at home."
