"Back in 2006 my good friend Griff Morgan and I imported a Stallion called Cody's Lucky Spark. He is now 14 years old and has been a corner stone of our breeding program for some time. He produces easily trainable offspring that have excellent and uncomplicated temperaments, unlike some of the other horses we produce you dont need to be a super horseman to train or ride them. Cody himself is a bit the same, easy to work with and will cover mares in hand or will run out them. When he arrived with us he was 7 years old, he was unbroken. Up until he was 5 he was running the range in South Dakota, he was then purchased by a lady in New Mexico, were due to her husband becoming ill didnt do much with him. Once he settled in with us, we had a retired 65 year old head lad from the racing industry to back him for us. The horse never put a foot wrong and proved to be one of the easiest horses he had ever worked on, we carried on riding him for couple of years after, until unfortunately he slipped in thepasture one day and cracked his hip. He made a good recovery but is not sound enough to ride, although he has no problem carrying on with his stud duties. After discussion with our vet, he assures me that it is not a genetic issue. He would be a highly suitable stallion for cross breeding for all disciplines, particularly show jumping ponies and kid's ponies due to his sensible, highly trainable temperament. He is a level headed horse, compliant, with ranch horse ability. He will be a pleasure for whatever use he is required for. We have a range of horses for sale, for more information on this horse or any of our others please call John after 6pm on 01446 772534."
