Stunning Pure-bred Friesian

Black Friesian mare, 15.2hh, 8yo by Nanno 372 out of a ster mare by Oege 267 (preferent). Beautiful, baroque and up to weight, but not too wide or strong. She has super, forward-going paces and a willing and obedient attitude.
This superbly bred mare now must be sold and is open to offers. She’s one of the loveliest Friesians we’ve worked and really deserves a five star home. Only still for sale because the slow market and family commitments have meant she is almost totally unexposed.
Driven and hacked in Holland before being imported to the UK, then schooled as a quality riding horse here. She is now settled and confident in her work, making her very rideable and safe, although her driving ‘gear’ is still in there if needed (it’s particularly useful hacking up hills!).
Easy as pie to handle – loves attention and fuss, unfazed by the busiest yard or showground. Happy to hack alone or in company. Not a plod, but not silly or spooky. Easy to box, shoe, dentist, wormer etc.
Been to local shows and unaffiliated dressage this summer, taking it all in her stride and really catching the judge’s eye. Impeccable show manners – will happily stay all day to be admired.
Ideal mother and daughter share, ‘lifetime’ fun horse or one to school on for more competitive dressage work. She has a lovely, sensible mind as well as being beautiful, and could turn her hoof to anything from showing to dressage to fun rides to stunt work!
